Hemp Protein Balls! Quick & Easy Snack Made with Healthy Hemp Hearts

Do you get hunger attacks and not know what to grab? Or do you wind up grabbing for the wrong food's you know you shouldn't eat? We've all been there! Over the past few years I've made the switch to thinking ahead about snacking so when the hunger strikes its easy to grab an already prepared healthy option. Hemp Hearts (along with hemp protein) are one of the healthiest seed's out there and easy to add in to just about anything! We sprinkle on celery & peanut butter, throw on our yogurt & oatmeal, blend in our afternoon smoothies and the list goes on. High in protein and Omega 3 & 6 their packed with all kinds of health benefits for quick healthy, on the go snacks!


Below is a recipe we keep in stocked in the fridge all the time. Kids love them & so do adults of all ages! 


1 cup Oatmeal
1/3 cup Toasted Coconut Flakes
1/4 cup Hemp Hearts
1/4 cup Ground Flax Meal
1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup Raisins
1 Tbs Chia Seeds
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/3 cup Local Honey (or Agave Nectar)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Mix dry ingredients all up. Add in peanut butter, honey and vanilla and mix well. 
Roll into balls
Refrigerate for 1/2 hour and enjoy!
(We store in airtight container in fridge)
